Dr. Elaine Morganelli has over 19 years of experience in the medical field. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Trinity College and earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2002. She completed her internship at The Stamford Hospital, Columbia University in 2005, and her residency at The Stamford Hospital, Columbia University in 2006.

Fellowship-trained in advanced gastrointestinal minimally invasive surgery, bariatric surgery, and advanced endoscopy, Jai Prasad, MD, provides a wide range of services to patients at AMI Surgery, located in Stamford, Connecticut.

Dr. Prasad earned his medical degree from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. After completing his residency training in the United Kingdom and in the United States at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in Ohio, Dr. Prasad went on to complete his fellowship in advanced gastrointestinal minimally invasive surgery, bariatric surgery, and advanced endoscopy at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Prasad is passionate about patient-centered care and always involves his patients in decisions about their care. Along with his extensive experience in minimally invasive primary and revision bariatric and foregut surgery, he strives to use these skills to deliver exceptional, personalized care to each and every patient.

MEDICAL RECORDS

There is $20 charge for copies of all medical records. Copies must be requested in advance.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations of appointments must be given with at least 24hrs noticed or a $50 fee may be applied for missed appointments or cancellations less than 24 hrs in advance.

PATIENT RESPONSIBILITY

  • It is the patient’s responsibility to read and understand all permits and/or consents he/she signs. If the patient does not understand, it is the patient’s responsibility to ask the doctor or office staff for clarification.
  • It is the patient’s responsibility to answer all medical questions truthfully to the best of his/her knowledge.
  • It is the patient’s responsibility to contact our office if he/she has any complications following any procedure.
  • It is the patient’s responsibility to assure payments for services rendered are on a timely basis accepting ultimate responsibility as his/hers, regardless of whatever insurance coverage he/she may have.
